Every child deserves a book of their own. We make sure they get one.
Bailey's Books puts brand-new books directly into the hands of children at Title I and underserved schools across Los Angeles — hand-delivered with a personal recommendation, by a high schooler who wants to pass on his love of reading to other kids.

Testimonials

“We are thankful to Ethan for taking the time to visit our school and personally connect with our students. Meeting our children and placing books directly into their hands made a powerful impact. Moments like this help build a love of reading and create lasting memories for our school community. We are grateful for [Bailey's Books'] generosity and would happily welcome him back again. Thank you so much for sharing your love of books and reading with Alta Loma Students.”
- Heather Mura, Principal, Alta Loma Elementary School

"Bailey's Books came to our temporary campus last year in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire. Our students were able to choose from hundreds of books, and said the best part was getting personal recommendations from Ethan himself. Bailey's Books provided a welcome bright spot during a challenging time. Thank you!"
- Heather Baraga, Librarian and Literacy Coach, St. Mark's Episcopal School

"Bailey’s Books has been a wonderful partner for our school community. Their visit brought so much excitement and joy to our students, and it was incredibly meaningful to see children light up when they got to choose a book of their own to take home. For many of our families, opportunities like this help build home libraries and support a love of reading beyond the classroom. We are grateful for Bailey’s Books and their commitment to ensuring all students have access to books and the opportunity to grow as readers."
- Yadira Sanchez, Community School Manager, Valor Academy Elementary School

"Thank you to Bailey's Book for helping grow a love of literacy for our students. They had a blast choosing books which many started reading as soon as they got back to their classrooms.
It's great to see our students' faces in books and not in electronics and talking about characters and their stories. In a world dominated by technology, it is refreshing to see people uplifting literature through books. We hope to continue to partner with Bailey's Books in the future."
- Mark Jutabha, Community School Manager, Stella Elementary Charter Academy
