Thank you to the Leyson family for their generous donation to our foundation. The hardback books will surely be cherished by each child that receives one. Mr. Leon Leyson (author of The Boy on the Wooden Box) was a dedicated teacher at one of our local high schools in an underserved community and is a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit. As one of the youngest survivors of the Holocaust and a member of Schindler’s List, his life stands as a testament to courage, hope, and the power of education to inspire future generations.
