Children's Book World
Special shout-out to Children's Book World for graciously donating 400+ books for our events. Each book makes a difference in the life of a child and your generosity has allowed us to give the kids we work with to start or continue their at-home library.
The Leyson Family
Thank you to the Leyson family for their generous donation to our charity. The hardback books will surely be cherished by each child that receives one. New York Times best-selling author Mr. Leon Leyson (author of The Boy on the Wooden Box) was a dedicated teacher at one of our local high schools in an underserved community and is a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit. As one of the youngest survivors of the Holocaust and a member of Schindler’s List, his life stands as a testament to courage, hope, and the power of education to inspire future generations.
David Shannon, author of "No, David!"
Thank you to New York Times best-selling author and illustrator Mr. Shannon for supporting the Los Angeles community of young readers. Your contribution played an important part in the sucess of our Fall 2026 Rise Kohyang Event.
Suzanne Lang, author of "Grumpy Monkey"
Thank you to New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Lang for generously donating books from her Grumpy Monkey graphic novel series. Your support of Bailey's Books has allowed us to add the Grumpy Monkey series to our giveaway catalog.
