    Books, in effect, are the great equalizer. The love of reading is a passion that can change a child's life in an impactful and meaningful
    way. Help us spread that love by putting books in the hands of young readers who need them most—because every child deserves the chance to dream, grow, and unlock their potential.


    $10 brings one new book to a child.
    $300 supports one classroom of students.

    $1500 will allow Bailey’s Books to hold a school-wide event.

    The Leyson Family

    Thank you to the Leyson family for their generous donation to our charity. The hardback books will surely be cherished by each child that receives one. Mr. Leon Leyson (author of The Boy on the Wooden Box) was a dedicated teacher at one of our local high schools in an underserved community and is a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit. As one of the youngest survivors of the Holocaust and a member of Schindler’s List, his life stands as a testament to courage, hope, and the power of education to inspire future generations.
